If you ever want to install another overhaul mod, like Elden Ring Reforged. This will launch the game with the newly installed mod. Run the modengine2_launcher.exe inside your ER Root directory. Paste these inside your ER Root directory where the eldenring.exe resides. Go back to Convergence folder again, copy everything except (mod and modengine2) folder. Go back to your ER folder and open mod folder (make sure this is empty first). Go back to Convergence folder and open mod folder. Such as: SkipTheIntro.dll, FasterRespawn.dll, ErdTools.dll, and etc…. And finally, the mods folder, this is used to install mods with. 
Do not touch the modengine2 folder (unless you need to update it). The mod folder is the one you install all your NexusMods.Inside your ER folder there should be (mod, modengine2, and mods) folder.Locate your Elden Ring directory where the eldenring.exe resides.Inside the folder should contain (mod and modengine2 folders) and all other.
Locate your Convergence folder that you unpacked in step 2 and open it. (However, DO NOT run the launchmod_eldenring.bat) as instructed. Follow the Convergence mod installation guide. Download the latest ModEngine2 (Skip if ModEngine2 is already installed). Do I need to have Elden Ring, Steam and this mod all on the same drive? Currently ER runs fine with Steam installed on C: while Elden Ring is installed on D:Įdit - ive since unstalled Elden Ring and reinstalled on C: drive.same thing Steam is installed on C: while Elden Ring is installed on D:ĭoes this matter? Have redownloaded and unpacked from Nexus. bat at the end, does that matter?Īlso I thought it might be something to do with OneDrive becasue it states that in the path, so I uninstalled OneDrive (trial version) and it is gone but still states OneDrive in the file path. I am wondering something, it shows as launchmod_eldenring but there is no. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again Windows cannot find C:\Users\gamereg\Onedrive\Desktop\Elden Ring Mods\ConvergenceER\launchmod_eldenring.bat. I then went in and double-clicked launchmod_eldenring and get this error: Then ran it as administrator and it unpacked files successfully to a folder i made on my desktop. I downloaded the Convergence ER Downloader(11.1mb) off of nexus. I really want to try this mod thats on the Nexus, I've played through Elden Ring many times now (1225 hours worth) and this install is driving me nuts.
